A class is a particular property of any unit – playable, enemy, or neutral. A unit’s class governs what weapons it can handle, what stats it has, and numerous other assorted characteristics. Some classes are only employed on your side, some only as enemies, and some only as neutral characters. Most units can change class to one of the Advanced Classes after reaching certain requirements. Usually, a unit must go up to a certain level, such as 10 or 20, and use a special item.
