Red Mage

“Casts black and white magic spells up to level four! Gains BP at various times. Can use any weapon fairly well.”

Unlocked when Fiore the Red Mage is defeated.

Specialty: Revenge

Has a 25% chance to increase BP by one when taking damage. Poison damage does not trigger this ability.

Note: You may notice that this class gains a Support Ability that is the same as their class’s Specialty. This is so that if you change your character’s class to something else, you can still give them the ability via the customisable Support Abilities on the Ability page.

Raises maximum MP by 20%.

4 Turn Tables

Raise BP by one when evading an enemy attack.

5 MP Free in a Pinch

MP cost falls to zero when your HP is below 20%.

7 Adrenaline

BP rises by one when your attack defeats an enemy. Note that if you simultaneously defeat multiple enemies, your BP rises by the number of enemies defeated.

8 BP Recovery

Raise BP by two when sustaining a status ailment.

9 Save Magic MP

Lower the MP cost of black, white, time, and summon magic by 25%.

11 Revenge

Has a 25% chance to increase BP by 1 when taking damage.

12 Revival

Has a 75% chance to raise your BP by 2 when your HP falls below 20%.

13 An Eye for an Eye

When your HP falls below 20%, the chance of scoring a critical hit will rise by 900% for 5 turns.

14 In the Red

Increases Magic Damage when you have negative BP.

Level Ability Name Description
1 B/W Magic Lv.1

Enables the use of level 1 white magic and black magic. Note that these cannot be used without the appropriate scrolls.

Cure: Restore a small amount of HP to one target. This spell can be group-cast and will damage undead enemies.
Poisona: Cure poison for one target.
Blindna: Cure blind for one target.
Fire: Deal minor fire damage to one target. This spell can be group-cast.
Blizzard: Deal minor water damage to one target. This spell can be group-cast.
Thunder: Deal minor lightning damage to one target. This spell can be group-cast.

3 B/W Magic Lv.2

Enables the use of level 2 white magic and black magic. Note that these cannot be used without the appropriate scrolls.

Protect: Raise the physical defence of one target by 25% for five turns. The upper limit for P.Def is 150%.
Shell: Raise the magic defence of one target by 25% for five turns. The upper limit for M.Def is 150%.
Aero: Deal minor wind damage to one target. This spell can be group-cast.
Silence: Has a 75% chance to cause the status ailment silence in one target.
Poison: Has a 75% chance to cause the status ailment poison in one target.
Sleep: Has a 75% chance to cause the status ailment sleep in one target.

6 B/W Magic Lv.3

Enables the use of level 3 white magic and black magic. Note that these cannot be used without the appropriate scrolls.

Cura: Restore a medium amount of HP to one target. This spell can be group-cast and will damage undead enemies.
Raise: Revive one target from K.O. and restore HP. Note that this spell has a 70% chance to cause death when used on undead enemies.
Esuna: Cure the status ailments poison, blind, silence, sleep, paralyse, dread, berserk, confuse, and charm for one target.
Fira: Deal medium fire damage to one target. This spell can be group-cast.
Blizzara: Deal medium water damage to one target. This spell can be group-cast.
Thundera: Deal medium lightning damage to one target. This spell can be group-cast.

10 B/W Magic Lv.4

Enables the use of level 4 white magic and black magic. Note that these cannot be used without the appropriate scrolls.
